About the Club

A Community for Visual Storytellers

Established on 21 April 2026, the Chittagong College Photographic Society serves as the definitive creative platform for shutterbugs and visual artists within our historic campus. Guided by our foundational motto "Reveal the Insight", we strive to look beyond surface-level aesthetics, teaching our members how to document authentic emotions, dramatic architectural shadows, and everyday student narratives with technical precision and artistic vision.

CCPS is more than just a club; it is an active incubator for young talent. We empower students to transform their passion for photography into meaningful visual storytelling through structured learning pathways:

Masterclasses & Training: Regular sessions led by experienced peers and guest artists focusing on manual exposure, framing, lighting dynamics, and digital editing suites.
Immersive Photowalks: Regular guided excursions across historic college grounds and scenic city locations to capture street life, nature, and documentary frames.
Weekly Spotlight: Curated weekly showcases honoring the most striking imagery submitted by our general members.
Competitive Challenges: Exciting monthly thematic contests that push creative boundaries and inspire artistic growth.

When I laid the foundation for CCPS, my vision was to build an artistic home where students could pause and truly observe the poetry hidden in our everyday surroundings. A camera is merely a tool; the real magic lies in patience, perspective, and the willingness to capture genuine human emotions. This society belongs to every dreamer who wants to freeze time and tell stories that words fail to express.
